covid-19 Safety Practices
Umineko Dojo currently has in-person classes for our students. Our students’ and dojo’s health is our top priority.
We have implemented some protocols in order to reduce as much risk as possible while maintaining a safe training environment for everyone.
Students
Students who have experienced illness or flu-like symptoms are not allowed to come to class. They are encouraged to see their doctor and attend class once they are free of symptoms.
Students are asked to wash or sanitize their hands before and after class.
Students who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks.
Students are asked to get their gi/uniform pants on prior to coming to class if possible in order to avoid over-crowding the changing room.
Students are asked to keep their personal hygiene and wash their uniforms and tabi regularly.
Dojo
Floor mats are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Dojo environment, to include stair hand rails, door handles, faucets, door locks, training equipment, bathroom toilet, changing room, etc., are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Pump hand sanitizer bottles have been placed in the front entryway, changing room, dojo waiting area, and bathroom.
Free disposable masks are available for students for those who want to wear one.
